Floral designs are often a favorite for little girl nurseries, and for good reason! What a sweet nod to your sweet little girl. Our Wildflower Meadow Crib Sheet has a background of an old lace color, reminiscent of vintage lace curtains. Against this canvas, a charming selection of wildflowers takes root. You'll find sunflowers with their golden blooms, radiating warmth and happiness. Lilac-colored daisies sway gracefully, like a gentle breeze in a meadow. Blue lady slippers add a touch of woodland charm, their vivid hues a reminder of forest strolls. The small coral-colored dames rocket flowers complete the tapestry, bringing a burst of vibrant color to this natural oasis.   This blog may include affiliate links. Let's start with a color palette you can use to pull in fun accessories and textiles. It might seem more difficult, but planning your nursery around a beautiful print you find can be such a fun and unique project! Our Wildflower Meadow Crib Sheet is a special design that has a background in an old lace color, reminiscent of vintage lace curtains. So many beautiful tones to pull into your nursery design.   With all of these beautiful colors you can use as accents, starting with neutral furniture can help you achieve this without making the nursery space overwhelming. This natural wood colored dresser is a statement piece that your little one can use for years to come, even with changing room themes.   Sticking with the theme of keeping larger items more neutral in order to change themes down the road - this neutral rocker is such a cute and wonderful option! Blackout curtains are one of my biggest nursery must haves! You can always hook them open for more light, but ensuring your little one has a dark space to sleep in for naps and bedtime can work wonders for their sleep. These cream colored blackout curtains keep the room bright and light, while ensuring you and your little one have a better chance at getting good sleep!  Last, but certainly not least, STORAGE! Babies come with lots of little goodies, and you are going to want storage options to hold them all. For storage on the floor, you will want to consider soft storage options, this woven basket with tassels is so cute, and so soft where you little one will not get injured when they are mobile and tearing through your organization.    Have fun creating your nursery vision, we would love to hear how you plan your nursery around our Wildflower Meadow crib sheet! You will not be charged any extra for clicking on these links, but I may earn a small commission!     When designing a room, I like to start with textiles. Often times textiles are where you can bring in your theme, and the colors you'd like in your space! For our Floral & Dots pattern, bringing in neutrals and other soft pastels is a great way to bring it all together. These pink pom-pom curtains are a fun way to bring in another pastel, but with a fun flair! Our Floral & dots pattern is available in both a crib sheet and a changing pad cover, making choosing those fabrics easy (and have you heard we offer bundle and save savings?!)   Furniture is another important piece to your design. I find it easiest to choose a neutral, simple design for both the crib, dresser, and any other furniture you choose to include. This will help for if you want to change themes down the road, or if you are re-using the furniture later for future kiddos! This natural dresser has tons of storage and is a great height for attaching a changing pad to the top.    While we're on the topic of storage, let's talk baskets. If baskets are out of range, feel free to go with whichever ones you like best - but for baskets that will be in your little one's reach once their mobile, I LOVE going with woven baskets. They are strong, yet gentle for your little ones, and they come in a variety of sizes for everything you need to keep on hand for baby. This woven basket with pom-pom accents is fun and gives a little girly flair.   Below, let us know how you would style our Floral & Dots print!

Seriously? How Darling!   One of my favorite ways to add a simple feminine touch to a nursery is through textiles. Our Girly Plaid crib sheet is a great option for a girly touch. The light pink and purple mix and match easily with neutrals. A simple pattern is a good choice if you are looking for a versatile nursery theme that you can switch up during the year. Another option is adding a fun color to your curtains (I highly recommend black out curtains for your nursery!) These pink black out curtains are the perfect pastel pink and such great quality. You can also consider adding a fun pop of color or pattern in a rug if your space needs one. I'm sure if you have kiddos already, or if you are beginning to accumulate baby items, you are realizing organization and storage are so important. These woven baskets are big enough to hold everything you need for baby, and are soft for when your baby is mobile and you have the hazard of them pulling baskets over! Daisy Nursery: Featuring Field Of Daisies

Daisy Nursery: Featuring Field Of Daisies

When planning a nursery for your little girl, daisies can be a great place to get started! Daisies are colorful, beautiful, and a wonderful accent to add a touch of happiness. Ah! I'm getting excited, let's talk the specifics! This blog includes affiliate links. This will not charge you any extra, but I may earn a small commission from you clicking on them!  Our Inspired Color Scheme: I always love starting with a color scheme to build my room. It helps keep everything looking planned and purposeful when everything is complete. For this blog post I chose a soft and calming color palette. Check out these beautiful hues as a place to start! Envision a room covered in a Soft Lavender wall, maybe adding an accent wall with Blush Taupe. Pair it with light natural neutral woods and you have a beautiful room ready to add splashes of brightly colored accents to pull the room together. Wall Decor There are a ton of daisy wall decals or wallpaper to create a floral accent wall out there. Wayfair and Amazon are great resources to use to start building the ideas behind your bedroom plans. You also can't go wrong with framing cute daisy prints or paintings. Some of my favorite places to go on a wall art hunt are Hobby Lobby and At Home. They never disappoint. Furniture Opt for white or light-colored furniture to maintain a bright and airy feel. Many are into the bo-ho theme, and it mixes so well with daisies! This bo-ho style dresser is a wonderful choice for a light-colored option that can go with many different themes. Bedding [Insert shameless plug here] Choose bedding with daisy patterns or floral designs. We have the perfect option, our field of daisies crib sheets. It's the perfect color for this color scheme and theme! Accessories Add daisy-shaped throw pillows to the crib or rocking chair. Target is a good place to get some cute throw pillows for a little girls room. Hang daisy garlands or a mobile from the ceiling. This daisy mobile is to die for! Flooring Use a soft, plush rug with daisy motifs. Have you checked out Pottery Barn Kids lately? They have some really cute designs, and some are even machine washable! A must for a kids room because when they get older and start getting diaper changes on the floor (it will happen one day!). While this one isn't machine washable, this round rug is simply perfect for this color scheme and theme!   Storage Incorporate cute daisy storage bins or baskets for organizing baby essentials. Or another option is to go for a pastel option like this lavender woven basket. Window Treatments: Install curtains or blinds with a daisy pattern or in light, neutral colors. I like these cream colored blackout curtains as it goes with so many themes and they have a nice, clean look. Personal Touch: It's easy to throw some stuff together from Amazon and big box stores, but also consider personalized items such as a name sign with daisy accents. They're only this little for so long and your future self will thank you for taking the time to create something personally for your baby girl. As she grows she will feel loved and respect you for taking such care in making her space comfortable. If you're not crafty, that's ok! You could find some daisy-themed frames and put ultrasound pictures or baby photos in them. Remember to keep the space comfortable and safe for the baby while maintaining the daisy theme. Enjoy creating a beautiful and welcoming nursery!
