From Fabric to Nursery: How Cradle Comforts Stays Eco-Friendly
on May 11 2025
In a world where parents are more conscious than ever about what touches their baby’s skin—and what impact their purchases have on the planet— Cradle Comforts Co. is leading the way with baby textiles from crib sheets to hooded towels that are as gentle on babies as they are on the Earth.
From the very beginning, our mission has been simple: provide thoughtfully designed, natural crib sheets that support local communities and reduce waste at every stage of production. But what does that look like in practice? Let’s take a closer look.
🌿 Natural Fabrics for Natural Sleep
Babies spend up to 16 hours a day sleeping, so we believe what they sleep on matters. That’s why all our crib sheets are made with organic cotton and bamboo, - fabrics that are soft, breathable, and free of harmful chemicals.
Each product is designed with both comfort and durability in mind, because babies may grow fast, but quality should last (even on multiple children).
🤝 Prioritizing Local and Ethical Production
We proudly partner with small-batch manufacturers and textile artisans who uphold fair labor practices and share our commitment to sustainability. We produce in the US where we can, but there are some fabrics we can only get in China. However, we only work with manufacturers who practice fair trade labor.
Transparency matters, and we’re proud to know we are doing our part.
♻️ Upcycling and Donation Services
Have crib sheets your baby has outgrown or no longer needs? We are starting an easy upcycling and donation program. Gently used sheets are transformed into new products for our shop or donated to hospitals, shelters, or pregnancy centers for those in need.
We believe that no fabric should go to waste—and that every child deserves a soft, safe place to sleep.
📦 Minimal Waste, Maximum Care
Packaging is a huge part of product waste, which is why we’ve gone the extra mile to ensure ours is recyclable and compostable. Starting in June 2025, we will be utilizing only compostable mailers and paper materials. We will be protecting your products in a plastic liner to protect it from weather or dirt if the mailer gets damaged, but, no unnecessary fluff—just beautiful, functional packaging made from as many recyclable materials as possible!
💚 A Sustainable Choice for a Kinder Future
Every product you buy from Cradle Comforts Co. is a small act of love—not just for your baby, but for the planet, and for families everywhere. We’re not just making bedding; we’re building a community rooted in care, integrity, and long-term sustainability.
Thank you for choosing conscious comfort. Together, we’re making a difference—one cozy nap at a time.

I can't help but feel a sense of comradery in knowing that the whole world went through the same overwhelming event together this year. I'm hopeful that 2021 will be better than 2020. Talk about some pretty low stakes! Some of us have experienced incredible hardships this year, and my hats go off to all of you who have persevered. Keep up the good work. Don't give up!
To my customers...I am so grateful for your support, and it is my pleasure to serve you in whatever creative way I can. Thanks for sticking with me!
I hope you have had the time to reflect, like I have, to set some goals for yourself! What are your goals for 2021?

We had a blast meeting with a number of brides this past Sunday afternoon at the Southwest Wedding Show in Pasadena, Texas! Thank you everyone who made this show great! Several brides able to attend got to preview a lot of the new products that we are offering now. These great new releases (which you will soon see on our website) were well received! Some include photo slates, you can see pictured below. We also had a nice display of sparkler holders and were conveniently located right next to the EventSparklers.com booth.
